i am a Christian, and i admit that at times i judge others. I am not speaking for all Christians out there, but i speak for myself as to why i judge others even if the Bible tells me not to.
i believe, i commit the sin of judging others because of my stubborness to heed and follow God's call to love others and not judge them. i judge others, because i want others to look at me as a much better and stronger person than those i criticize or judge.
those are my reasons, and i know i was wrong and i am sorry. i am giving my best, not to judge again every time i am tempted to...with God's help.

How do you know Christians are judging others according to the bible? I wonder what constitutes this judging in your eyes. You want to know something the bible does command us to do. "Preach the gospel to all nations." To tell the good news of Jesus Christ is not judging, its loving. If you read the bible clear enough, you'll realize we'd actually be disobeying Jesus by not telling people about Him. If I'd tell you to get out of a house that's burning is that judging. blessings

The Greek word meant more like condemning. We are called to judge and test everything and set apart the wicked from the righteous things. The only thing we cannot do is condemn, that is, we cannot claim to have the power to persecute, harm, or force anyone.

Why do you dump all Christians in the same group. Just because you have met a few that weren't doing right, doesn't mean we all are that way. Doesn't your statement mean that you are judging all Christians...........

We don't and it doesn't. There is more to that passage than you are speaking of here. We judge behavior weather right or wrong, consequences for that behavior are for God to determine. Also, we don't tell Him who is doing wrong He already knows that. Our job is similar to waking up your neighbor if his house is on fire.

"Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire" (Matthew 7:17-19).
So just call me a fruit inspector.
