@#*! AOL. I hate them. I'm not even sure how this crap got on my laptop in the first place.
..should I go to Add/Remove Programs or is there any other way?

You could uninstall it from Add/Remove Programs, but if that doesn't work, then disable it to launch automatically from booting them when you start your computer by following these simple steps.
1) Go to Start --> Run and type msconfig
2) A dialog box will appear. Click the tab STARTUP. and uncheck any and all boxes that ONLY apply to AOL software. there might be quiet a few. You might have to expand the the file names to see what the software is...
3) after the unchecking, option will appear to asking you to restart your computer, do so.

Right click on AOL Icon and open up aol software and click on setting and clear check mark box for aol fast start.

I had the same problem, add/remove did not work, I had to search all files and hidden programs on my computer and then delete them one by one.

AOL You should get DSL a little more and a lot faster.Check
online for DSL CO in your area. I like DSL,fast.
