That phase i have never heard but in this case i think he thinks your very beautiful and he's trying to drop a hint to you. but he might be afraid to come straight out and say it. If he said those things bout you that means you already got him interested all you have to do is maybe drop him a hint a lil one not to big. So thats what i believe that means.

He seems to be a little shy around you, he gets sort of toung tied, I will bet he likes you. He just don't know how to express it. Boys are taught to hold in their feelings, so they never develop the words to express what they feel. That is why it takes so much effort to get a man to say what he feels. You have to get to my age to learn this.
