Don't worry, you can't be allergic to a person. It could be his soap or deodorant or aftershave or even the fabric softener or detergent his clothes are being washed in. If he has a pet, it could be pet hairs on his clothes.
Red bumps aside, it does sound like you are having doubts about him. You may want to put a little thought into that and why you're feeling that way.

ask him if he is wearing some type of cologne or something...hair product...i dunno...or...as you suggested, i do agree that it could be ur subconscious warning u of him...how well do u know him?
i mean...my ex...i had NO CLUE until a few months into our relationship that...
i'm pretty sure(still not positive)that he was in a gang
i am sure that
he was a porn addict(in the past)
disturbingly horny
was emotionally scarred
harsh life story
depressed
and all this other stuff
u never know

It may be his shampoo, or colonge, or laundry detergent. If not you may get nervous and break out in hives. You could ask your doctor about this I'm sure he could help.

dont blame him for now. maybe you're just allergic to his perfume or something. try going to the doctor first before you find yourself regreting.
