I am home a lone on a Friday night, which is not unusual, and i was wondering about spirituality. i resently asked another question, and I feel that i am agnostic. I believe in evolution, and that there is a good chance our body regenerates into the soil. But i also believe there could be a higher power, but no one knows the real truth until they get there. When you want to learn more about spirituality, where do you look? I don't want to go to a church, i am not religious. But are there any good books? How do i learn more and explore my spirituality?

There's a good book by Robert Solomon, titled "Spirituality for the Skeptic: The Thoughtful Love of Life". Give it a shot.
Also a thumbs-up for the response about the trees and birds. Get out into the world (that's Solomon's conclusion as well).

Life, spirit, truth...are real things we need to discover, to follow and to advance with them. Rational beings cannot accept anything without shedding intellectual light on them. Families, schools, churches...are places where we can learn about all things with proper guidance. Truth does not appear as a dead stone or diamond before our eyes.
As for spirituality, I think we can find it by reading and practicing the sacred verses of the Holy Books. In the beginning, we may need some help from friends or elders, then we make consideration and decision for our own self.
For example, love is a great aspect of spirituality. We must learn to know what it is, how it manifests in the family, in the broader community, in the whole world, and even in between God and His creation. When we understand the principle of love, we practice it in our daily life with due sacrifice and new meanings will be revealed to our mind...
In other words, we must learn about spirituality and start with practice as we learn other things at school. The illimited source for this learning is the Holy Books. Pray for your success.

Mother Nature... thats where all spirituality begins. Learn all you can about the earth and Nature, it truly develops ones personal spirituality beyond all boundaries.
"I believe in God only I spell it Nature"... Frank Lloyd Wright
The first act of awe, when man was struck with the beauty or wonder of Nature, was the first spiritual experience... Henryk Skolimowski
“Despite great diversity, there is a shared worldview and ethics in both super-naturalistic and naturalistic forms of contemporary nature-oriented spirituality. The common perception can be stated succinctly: The earth and all its life forms and processes aresacred. We belong to them and they to us -- we are kin. We should, therefore, act lovingly, reverently, and respectfully toward them. We must not unnecessarily injure these beings and processes when we take from them what we need to live. The key tocontemporary earth-based spirituality and ethics is, therefore, a felt sense of “connection,” kinship, and loyalty to earth, her life forms, and living systems.”

You could try the Bible, but I've got to warn you, it's dangerous. The Bible has sever consequences to reading it: you may just end up believing after all. You can also check out http://guidance.gospelcom.net/questions.htm for more information. They've got an online Bible if you're interested.
