My girlfriend and I have been together for almost two years, during that time her ex-boyfriend married someone else. My girlfriend has been talking to him on the side, and has been talking bad about me to him behind me my back. What should be done?

you shouldn't put up with that. if you know she is talking bad about you to her ex...why are you still with her? you should try talking to her about it and if it continues...dump her

I would run her off and tell her to not come back, you deserve someone that does not do this. That is called stabbing you in the back. As for as her ex boyfriend, if he is married, she needs to leave him alone, what she trying to do break up his marriage. She sounds like a trouble maker, I would send her packing, and the sooner the better. If she loved you , she would be taking up for you not stabbing you in the back.

How do you know that she's talking negatively about you? I'd be careful, as there's a chance that someone is telling you this, just to mess with your relationship.
Confront her about what you've been told.
