You might look into the Catholic Church.

If you are interested learning more about the Catholic Church, contact your local parish and ask about information about their RCIA Inquiry group.

You can go and ask any questions you want.

This is the first step in RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) but you can stop at any time.

There is no obligation to become a Catholic.

With love and prayers in Christ.

I'm Christian and I have moved all over the world and had a really hard time finding any church that I was willing to go to. So you believe in God but not Christ? I presume you are not Jewish or Muslim either or you have said so. The non-denominational churches that I know of are Christian.. but check out some in your area and attend them and see how you feel and what their beliefs are. There's no harm in wondering around in search of a church that you feel you want to belong to.

nicely, first of all, once you've been going to a church the position prayers are "study", that is probable useless. that isn't any ask your self you don't desire to flow. you should visit another church homes. they are not all like that. also, the Bible says we ought to continuously not "forsake the assembling of ourselves jointly". It would not could be at church, yet per chance you should hit upon a bible learn/prayer team to hitch so that you'll a minimum of have some fellowship. you've heard the former tale about how a go surfing a hearth on my own will go out, yet when that is with different logs, it is going to burn brightly. we want the help of alternative Christians or we've a tendency to waft faraway from the Lord. you're literally not a nasty Christian. i'm satisfied you're praying on your man or woman. with any success, you're reading the Bible too, truly the hot testomony. God speaks to us via His be conscious. i am going to desire for you.

If you have faith and study the bible sincerely and practice the teachings, You are already his good disciple. Theres nothing wrong with any church you go to, its only people that are ignorant and hold false views. Do not associate their false views with the church and think, this this church is not good...that church is not proper.... Wherever you go, such people always exist. So the "proper church" you are looking for might not even exist in reality.

Ultimately, the teachings left by jesus is always constant. The only problem lies with people who misunderstand them. You don't really have to care about these people if your inert wisdom tells you that they are wrong, because you are not believing in them anyway. Practice earnestly and verify the teachings yourself.

You asked for help. Here it is. If you really are serious you will pardon me for telling you that all of your answers above are wrong. Dead wrong. I can give you chapter and verse why each church suggested above is very wrong about a number of their main central beliefs. Now that being said what do you do?

First don't waste your time and energy checking out the above churches. I have already checked them out for you.

Here is where you will find the one and only church on earth that follows all of the main Christian beliefs explained in the Bible. Go to the following web page. May God Bless you as you follow my advice. It would be great for me if you could let me know what you find.

Ok well, I am Baptist and we do not believe in the speaking of tounges or laying on hands. We believe those gifts were given for a time, but have since been taken away. It is our belief that when people were given the ability to speak in tounges they were given the ability (through the Holy Spirit) to speak and understand languages not their own without any training. They were also able to speak to crowd of people who spoke different languages and have everyone be able to hear what ws being said in their own tounge.

I have family that attends a charismatic non denomonational Christian church and they speak in tounges there. It is not a language anyone speaks, it is gibberish. They claim that the Holy Spirit overtakes them and the urge to speak it is uncontrollable. However my cousin who was raised Baptist and has never spoken in tounges has been incouraged to do it. How can you incourage someone to do something that is uncontrollable?

I am a firm believer in doing something because you feel it inside you, not to be a part of a group. In our church people raise their hands to God as part of worshiping him. I do this as well, but I truly examine my heart to be sure I am not doing it because others did. To follow the crowd and demonstrate something I don't feel to me would be false worship.

Are there any specific aspects of worship you are looking for? What practices are you seeing besides prophesy that you are having trouble with? Email me if you want and I will try to help you find a church that might fit you better, I have gone to several different kinds.

That being said, I do think you need to stop allowing yourself to be filled with hate toward these churches. In all likelihood no church is totally perfect. We all interpret something different from another church and the odds of one of us having it all correct just is not likely. But here is the thing...We are ALL followers and believers in Christ. Therefore we are all part of the Body of Christ. The church He created. For that reason we should respect each other and not tear each other apart. A house divided will not long stand. Respect what these churches believe that you can agree with and stop worshiping there. But don't let minor issues keep you from worshiping. That is just allowing Satan to pull you away from God.

Bless you.

I recommend the church that Jesus built (Matt 16:18), and the church he purchased with His own blood. (Acts 20:28)

I recommend the church that will answer the question, "What shall I do to be saved" with the same answer Peter gave in Acts 2:38.

I recommend the church that is organized in the way the church of the Bible was organized. Christ was the head and the church was his body (Eph 1:22-23), and there is only "one body" (Eph. 4:4). Since Christ is the head, the church I recommend has no "headquarters" on Earth, but each congregation goes directly to the Bible to see what it should teach and practice.

Each congregation of the church I recommend is overseen by a group of elders that meet the qualifications outlined in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1. The Elders are also called "bishops", "overseers", or "pastors".

The church I recommend should teach the truth. This truth could be investigated by searching the scriptures (Acts 17:11). They should have a "thus saith the Lord" for everything they teach and do.

The church I recommend should have a name from scriptures and not a man made name. This church should have a name that points to the owner of the church - Christ. The church is the "bride of Christ", and the bride should honor the groom by wearing His name.

Suppose, for example, Mr. Smith asks his girlfriend to marry him. She agrees, but says, “Our friend Mr. Jones is a good man, so when we get married, instead of being called Mrs. Smith, I want to be called Mrs. Jones.” Would Mr. Smith have a reason to question her loyalty to him? Would he feel honored? Why would a bride wear another man’s name? Why would a church want to wear a man-made name?

We don’t have to wear a man-made name. Just as the church is called several names in Scripture, we as individuals are given names to wear. Followers of Christ are simply called things like “saints” or “disciples”. But there is also a specific name given. 1 Peter 4:16 says, “If a man suffer as a Christian… let him glorify God in this name” . Since the Bible gives us a name to wear (Christian), we do not need another name, but some are not content to be known simply by “this name”. We were never meant to be a hyphen-named Christian.

The Corinthians had this problem. Some were Paul-Christians, Apollos-Christians, and Cephus-Christians. (1 Cor.1: 10-13). Because they were divided by these various names, they were called “carnal” and not “spiritual”(1 Cor.3: 1-4). You see, a single name promotes unity, but multiple names encourage divisions. We should be content to wear the name God has given. (Isaiah 62:2)

Is a name important? Names show honor, identify ownership, promote unity (or division), recognize leadership, signify submission, denote doctrine, and demonstrate loyalty. If these are important, then names are also important.

Those who meet together as the "Church of Christ" strive to have all of these characteristics. We try to leave behind all man-made doctrine and be only the church of the Bible, therefore, the church I recommend is the church of Christ.

If you would like to know more, I invite any questions. I promise to give a Bible answer to your Bible questions.

Try a Non denominational Church, look around until you find one that teaches the word of God. Until then try this Bible Study at ttb.org, It teaches the Whole Word of God, and none of that weird stuff, J. Vernon McGee is the pastor and he teaches just the Word and about Jesus.

Peace!
I hope you still have the patience to read this after going through the answers to your question.
Look up the Catholic Church. It is the only Church founded by Jesus Christ. According to the Bible, there is no salvation outside of this Church. That used to be a Catholic doctrine but for the sake of ecumenism the Church does not mention it anymore.
