Well its been true with me. But I have used it to avoid having sex at times. Heh, you have to face it man, sometimes...we just don't feel like it.

Sure. It's not a reason to not have sex. Just throw a dark towel on top of the sheets and have a go. You might want to skip the oral sex during menstruation. Even then, though, you can still give some oral attention to the clitoris without worries about menstrual fluids.
But for whatever reason she is saying no, just go along with it. You're not worthy of being called a man if you can't honor a woman; regardless of her reasons.

No. She is maybe not ready for that. She probably doesn´t know how to talk to you about maybe not wanting to have sex for the moment. She is probably shy about the whole idea. Make her talk to you about what she really feels. Make her feel comfortable about the whole notion by being sensitive to her feelings. Maybe say, ¨I have a feeling you don´t want to have sex and that is fine with me but I wish you were more honest with me about not wanting to have sex with me if you really don´t feel comfortable. Is there anything you want to ask me.¨ Let it be an option for her and if she hesitates that means she does feel a little unsure of sex. Sooo.... I suggest you be patient with her until she is ready because if you push her too much on the subject or the action of having sex you will turn her off completely and she will think you after just one thing.

Well, every girl gets their period at different times so who knows if they really had it or not. Regardless, the chick just didn't wanna have sex with you.

It might be true, and other times, she might just not be ready to get sexually intimate with you.
Either way, respect her and do not try to pressure her.
