...some one was at the hair dressers and the hair dresser was washing their hair and found out they had lice.

if you were the hiar dresser, would you tell them?
are there laws or codes to going about this?
would you have to close down and de-lice the place?
what would you do about all the other peoples hair that you would have to wash?
What about you, since you weren't wearing gloves?
(if there is anything else that i missed please type it up, too.)

My friend had head lice and didn't know until she went for her haircut and the hairdresser told her. It was no big deal.

Lice need hair to cling to. So doesn't matter if you didn't have gloves. You wash your hands, you're good.

Barber chairs are usually made of leather or similar materials that are not easy for lice to infest in a short amount of time, but you could wipe it down with alcohol anyway.

OK, here is what you are supposed to do, when the client is seated in the chair the hair dresser give an analysis(looking through hair), as soon as you spot the lice you tell them to go treat it, the hair dresser is NOT allowed to treat the client until lice is completely gone. Doing all this without embarrassing the client.

As soon as the hair dresser finds lice they tell the customer immediately. and is recommended to get treated for lice. if there were anything used on there hair will be sterilized. but most of the time that's the first thing they look for. my wife is a hair dresser
