Don't go to one. Find other activites that appeal to you such as riding a bike, mountain climbing, camping, river rafting, bungie jumping, sports, etc.

well, these answers are mostly telling you to stay out of casinos and since that is not what you asked, I will tell you what I do. I have a stop win and stop limit amount. I will only take as much money as I am willing to lose. All other ways to get money are left at home. The stop win is I st a goal that I wnat to acheive and when I get there I leave, almost always. The only time I will stay is if the poker game I am in is a good one.

Gambling is addictive. I know, I live in Nevada. Limit yourself. Set an amount, leave your ATM's, credit cards, checkbook at home. Once you keep losing your limit, you'll hopefully begin to want to stop and begin realizing it's not worth it. If that doesn't work, what I do, is everytime I feel like gambling, I go buy something, even if it's something at the grocery store. Reward yourself. You'll begin to enjoy yourself much more and get rid of the guilt you feel after losing the money you could've spent on yourself (or someone special) or just stuck in the bank and saved. Finding some new hobbies also helps. Hope this helps you. Good luck!

pick an relatively small amount to play w/, if you double that, take it off the table (in your sock, pockets are ez'r for you to grab back into), if you run out b4 you have money off the table, then rebuy thats why i said relatively small amount, like if you bring 50-100, play w/ 20 or 40 dont turn all your cash to chips

hit yourself in the head with a hammer everytime you feel the urge to play. you'll eventually have negative feelings towards it.
