What makes a guy think a girl likes him? Like what signs does he think that she might show him?

Smiling at him, standing close, any touching at all, laughing at anything funny he says no matter if it is funny or not. But guys naturally think that a girl likes him....no matter what.

you make eye contact with us and then casually act like nothings happened. you try to be everywhere we are, so that you can see us more often. you act shy around us and dont talk that much, even though your trying to tell us everything. we smile when you look at us. somehow, our favorite tv shows and colors and interests are suddenly the same. then you gals leave us a message or a comment on myspace just saying "hi" and "hi" only. you guys act sparkly and jumpy at the site of us looking at you. well thats about all the clues i got b4 i dated a really really cool girl

when i think a girl likes me. she stares at me for a long time. she smiles at me when i look at her. if we talk she in full focus in looking at my eyes, like fully looking directly at me. she tries to hold my jacket or hold something from me. writes me little notes. feels on my butt somehow....
