There are a number of shampoos and conditoners on the market that will help repair damaged hair. Use them, take vitamins (some are good for hair), and cut out the damaged part as it grows. It'll take a while, but the damage will go away.

Good luck!

Well firstly, don't go looking in any high-street shops for shampoos and conditioners because they are all pretty useless when it comes to hair repair. The best thing to do is go to a salon and get professional shampoo. Wella is great! Ask your stylist for Wella because every good salon should have it and it's really great. I don't know if you straighten your hair or not, but if you do make sure you use a good hair protector otherwise your hair will be very dry and brittle. Hope this helps xx

I severely damaged my very long hair by using too much hair dye so I sucked it up went to a hair stylist and asked her to cut off all of the damage while still leaving me with plenty of length and she did. That's the only true way to get rid of split ends and "fried hair" from too much bleach or dye. It's great because you get a fresh start. I also bought some shampoo that is specifically for dry hair and i put a little bit of baby oil on my wet hair after I condition it. The baby oil makes my hair supersoft, shiny and very healthy looking. Just don't use too much, you don't want your hair to look or feel greasy. I also sometimes leave a palm size amount of conditioner in my hair to keep it soft and moisturized. Try it, works great for me.
also, there are vitamins that are specifically for hair and nails. They work great too. Just make sure you stick with it and take them everyday. There are also spray vitamins or vitamin gum...they are awesome because the vitamins get absorbed into your system quicker.

theres a machine called Split Ender which snips off your split ends its very good for damaged hair http://www.amazon.co.uk/Talavera-04-45-4004-Split-Ender/dp/B000ARK6J8/sr=8-1/qid=1168659380/ref=pd_ka_1/026-2077322-6267637?ie=UTF8&s=personal

and use a hair oil before you shampoo and condition. Don't buy anything from Boots or Supermarkets, buy profesional haircare(not tresemme thats just a con) from profesional hair salons. And theres this amazing hair cream called 'olive oil glossing cream' by Frederic Fekkai you can get it from SPACE NK shops or the SPACE NK website (just google it under uk)

Good luck.

If you have fried your hair due to dying or sonething, I would recommend something like mayonnaise. Sounds disgusting, but the fats act like a conditioner and it makes your hair really shiny. :]

So what's wrong with it? Did you cut it too short? If so extensions, or a wig will do it. Other wise, like my grandma used to say..."Your only 6 weeks away from a bad haircut", "its only hair".
