i don't exactly know what to say but i would suggest u don't dye it a diffrent color because if u do then if it mixes with other dyes and then it will turn ur hair a color u really don't want it could possibly turn it green so i would say don't do that!!!! the best thing for u to do is just let it grow out!!!!!

just add a brown color over it. that will take out the brightness of it and that is probably what they are flipping out about. go w/ something light just to tone it down. that way you can keep it the color you like and they will be happy as well.

Bleach is a pretty bad answer. I found on the web a site that gives many suggestions of products that can be used that don't cost too awfully much. www.adiscountbeauty.com/page32.html. A Beauty Supply Shop would probably have all these products or you could mail order them from this website.

If you bleach on top of burgundy it will turn a NASTY pink color!! Wash a few times with a good clarifying shampoo, supposed to strip some color from hair.

You need to go to a professional, so that you don't make things worse on your own. They can either lighten it up with some highlights/lowlights or strip it and dye it back to your natural hair color. Good Luck! =o)

I've heard Prell works or Johnson's baby shampoo. My daughter did the same thing. It turns auburn after a few washes anyway. Also, you could ask any beautician.
