How do you reconcile the fact that 25% of pregnancies result in a miscarriage within the first six weeks? Often the woman doesn't even realize that she was pregnant. This is a medical fact, look it up, don't take my word for it.

Anyway, wouldn't it seem that God is okay with abortion if so many pregnancies naturally end in death anyway? Otherwise, why didn't he build our bodies to take care of babies better??

your question makes too much sense! go back to the drawing board and make a strawman or circular argument.

>>Christians: If "life" begins at conception....? How do you reconcile the fact that 25% of pregnancies result in a miscarriage within the first six weeks?<<

How do you NOT? One can't die if one was never alive! You've just demonstrated that these human beings were alive.

>>Anyway, wouldn't it seem that God is okay with abortion if so many pregnancies naturally end in death anyway?<<

Here's another fun fact: 100% of human beings who are born will die. I guess that means God is okay with murder.

No God is not okay with abortion. He is not okay with it because when the egg joins with the sperm life is formed, a human life, regardless if it is still a zygote. i dont know what christians said life starts at conception, but no it actually starts when the embryo comes into existence with the union of the egg and sperm and from then on the person will exist forever regardless if miscarriaged or aborted.
Why do people think it's okay to scramble a fetus's brains around to kill or abort it. why do people think its a baby only when it pops out of the vagina. i think there is a huge misconception there.

If something goes wrong with the pregnancy there is a spontaneous abortion, and the BABY goes to heaven.

so basically you are saying that because something NATURALLY goes wrong in a pregnancy that murder is justified?
good thought.....what if your mother just didnt feel like having you? i know youll probably think of some smart comeback or comment for that....but it doesnt matter.
things happen....everything happens for a reason though. god gave us free choice.....so if a woman decides to be stupid and drink and do drugs while pregnant, is God responsible that her baby was born an addict or died?
you can NEVER justify playing god.

The human species has been corrupted by sin in so many ways that nothing works today as it was intended.

God is not OK with abortion.

Natural miscarriages and the murder of a life are two entirely different things?

I'm an atheist, not a Christian. And yes, life begins at conception. You're right, natural miscarriages happen, and often because the foetus is somehow flawed or incapable of forming correctly. This is natures way of correcting that. It is a passive thing, the woman does not actively have to do something.

However, shoving a vacuum cleaner up into her womb to tear the unborn child to pieces even as it struggles to get away, or the infant writhing in pain as the saline solution injected into it to kill it burns it from the inside out, is an active violation of the life of the unborn child. This is immoral. To borrow a term from the Christians, it is an abomination.

Frankly... I wish women who got abortions for any reason but ONE (she could not even sacrifice her life to give her unborn child to the age of viability, such as a tubal pregnancy) would die with their poor unborn child. Get their DISEASED psychology out of humanity's gene pool, because such women are inhuman monsters worthy of nothing BUT death.

So, I suppose that bc disease happens it's ok, too? This is a fallen, cursed world, so bad things happen. While those miscarriages are tragic, it doesn't mean that intentionally killing children is ok. Losing a child to miscarriage is a result of the curse on creation, that doesn't give us license to further the curse by intentionally killing unborn children.

God doesn't cause evil, although He does allow it. As I said, this is a cursed world bc of sin, so bad things happen, it doesn't mean we should intentionally cause those things or not try to stop them from occurring.

If the child is miscarried, it is not the fault of the mother. However if the child is deliberately taken from the mom's womb, that is knowingly terminating the pregnancy, and that is what angers God.
