you are justified, but you have to accept that his priorities are different than yours. That doesn't make him a bad person.
If that doesn't work for you, move on. There are a lot of nice guys out there that would love to make you the center of their attention.
Good luck.

Of course you're angry. It seems like he's not making time for you anymore. What you can do is the next time you talk to him, schedule a time when you can talk about this and MAKE SURE that there won't be any interruptions, like sports or friends. When you talk, make it about how you feel like he can't hang out with you anymore because of his sports and how you feel left out and sort of dejected. At the end, make sure you've worked something out so that you both have sometime to see each other uninterrupted. If he gives the excuse "I'm working really hard and right now there's no time for that..." then ask him when a good time would be for HIM. And press until you get a definite answer (like Monday or Friday right after school), not just "later" or "after tryouts." If he can make time for eating and sleeping, he should be able to make time for you.

well you said that he's trying to get into the team... maybe you should be more supportive.
being mad over this is issue is understandable.
talk to him about this... tell him how you feel at the same time be supportive of him. maybe you guys can strike up a compromise.
because it cant be just all about one person in a relationship.
you have to be flexible and understanding of each other.

Girl, if he doesn't make the time for you, why should you waste your time on him? You deserve a guy who will pay attention to you and make time for you! It clearly doesn't seem like he's saying "oh baby i want to be with you" he's just going off to sports! The way i see it, being with your boyfriend is what will prevent being lonely, not the idea of having a boyfriend. Move on hon!

You can always try to ask him to take a day off. Even the pros need a day off. Aside from that, you can support him till he gets on the team and I'm sure he is not ignoring you just for the fun of it. This is an important part of his life. Maybe he wants you to become a part of it.
