yes !it is I'm pretty sure i have depression I'm going to the doctor to discuss it soon . anyway i am always sleeping . i mean always sleeping practical not living i come home eat sleep wake up do whatever i have to do then sleep again .you should do research on depression so you can understand it more. here is a list of the sympotons
* depressed mood or sadness most of the time (for what may seem like no reason)
* lack of energy and feeling tired all the time
* inability to enjoy things that used to bring pleasure
* withdrawal from friends and family
* irritability, anger, or anxiety
* inability to concentrate
* significant weight loss or gain
* significant change in sleep patterns (inability to fall asleep, stay asleep, or get up in the morning)
* feelings of guilt or worthlessness
* aches and pains (even though nothing is physically wrong)
* pessimism and indifference (not caring about anything in the present or future)
* thoughts of death or suicide
if you have 5 of these you should discuss it with your doctor like i plan to do. the doctor can diagnose you then you can take medications to help make a sufficient amount of a chemical you are lacking in and you can go to a psychotherapist to discuss your problems .

It could be, a lot of people do sleep when they are depressed, then again it could be something else, maybe you need to change your sleeping habits, or maybe you need to go and talk to your doctor and see what he thinks, And he can help you find what you need to do, if you are depressed then he should know that and either send you to a therapist, or give you some medication for it. Hopifully if it is depression, it is something that can be deal with quickly .

It could be one sign. There are others; lack of motivation to do routine things, weight gain or loss, sadness that is unexplained, a feeling of hopelessness, etc.
If you experience these things, I suggest you see a counselor and talk about it. Also, look at your diet, are you eating healthy, getting exercise and enough sunlight per day?
Alcohol is a depressant, so don't drink. Exercise is a mood elevator, so do that daily.

The bit approximately undesirable thoughts jewelry bells greater effective than the temper swings for me; anybody can get those yet normally resurfacing thoughts are an illustration of something greater. i understand for me, that's between the worst bits in view which you spend plenty time residing on them and beating your self up over them. perchance attempt chatting with a doctor, it sounds like it must be something greater severe than purely temper swings brought about with tips from hormones.

It's possible. I notice you're a guy. Men display depression differently than women. As anger, for example. So if you think your behavior indicates depression, it's best to play it safe and assume it does.

You could have seasonal affective disorder (SAD). "Winter depressions" that come on in late fall or winter typically involve hypersomnia (sleeping much more than usual) and fatigue and lack of energy.

Depends on what you mean. If you are saying that you are sleeping just to be doing something then yes.
If you feel that there is something wrong; please consult a doctor.
