Since I am a vegetarian, I don't eat meat, fish, seafood, or gelatin products. The guy I like isn't vegetarian, though. Does this mean if I ever wanted to kiss him that I would sort of get meat in my mouth, cause if he ate it....? And should I try to convince him to be a vegetarian too?

Thank you guys all for the great advice, much appreciated. And in case anybody wanted to know, I would prefer if you wouldn't shake your head at my "silly" questions. If you think it is stupid and that I am childish, please go ahead and think so, that is your opinion. But I really believe that I am asking a quality question here and that my age is my own information.
Also, even though the animal is already dead to begin with, I still do not want to eat it because I know HOW it became dead. And I believe I was looking for answers to my question, not insults.

I purposely did not date vegetarians - always found them weird.

Come-on - face it - we’re not normal.

After 15 years of marriage my wife eats no red meat. She didn’t even eat turkey at this years Thanksgiving.

My wife will not claim she’s a vegetarian (I do – when asked) but she no longer finds animals appetizing.

Don’t limit yourself to vegetarians and don’t attempt to change anyone. Just be yourself and when you find someone that respects your beliefs – you’ve found a keeper.

Don’t be surprised if after several years of marriage your partner skips Turkey at Thanksgiving.

I don't think you should have a problem, its not like your actually consuming meat or animal products by kissing him, and if i were you i wouldn't try to talk him into being a vegettarian, because a) it would be asking a lot (most guys like meat its a manly thing) and b) you don't want to seem pushy.
Hope this helps

If you are worried about getting traces of meat in your mouth from someone who eats meat.... I'm just going to shake my head at this one, I'm sorry. Maybe if you were a vegan or something... but honestly, vegetarian is usually protesting the treatment of animals... and to be brutally honest, that animal already died, and was consumed... you not getting traces of it in your mouth is not going to do *anyone* any good... *shakes head again*
How old are you?? I mean, you can spell, so you must be over 12, but sometimes you don't act like it. No major offense intended.

You should never try to change someone, you should accept them for who they are. If he likes you and respects you that should be enough, if he chooses to become a vegetarian on his own that's great but don't ask him.
