Cats often swing their heads around to sleep on the back of their heads. Why do they do this?

coz its obviously comfortable for them to sleep that way I would think... maybe it helps keep their ears warm... seriously, when a cat sleeps that way, its a sign that he/she totally feels safe and totally feels well.

They just like to sleep comfortably. Some cats like to sleep on their stomachs; others like to sleep on their backs. Cats have different personalties!

that's a mushy and neat way for them. even if that's chilly, the cat likes to tuck their ft and tail lower than them to maintain the paws and tail warmth. In hotter climate now and again they lie the incorrect way up with the legs sticking up, it is so as that air can bypass over their body and they could keep cool.

I've never noticed that. I'm going to have to watch ours to see if they do it.
