I am pregnant and due. I have never had a curry dish but have heard that it "might" aid inthe induction process. while i know that this is a myth i am trying everything this weekend, including the curry. So does anyone have anything that they especially like or recommend. thank you very much.

Curry for 2 : chicken or shrimp & peas / pineapple
Melt 1/2 stick butter in a pan, add 1 tablespoon curry powder and 1 tablespoon cumin seed (both available in the spice section of most graocery stores)
Once it is blended (warm & mixed)
Add 1 pound frozen peas
Add 1 20 oz can pineapple chunks
Add 1 pound of grilled cut up chicken
Heat until eveerything is hot

Or if you prefer shrimp , omit the chicken & heat
Add 1 pound of shrimp later becasue shrimp shrinks !
Simmer about 2 minutes and serve.

I am not sure it will accomplish your goal....
however there are many different curries. and the flavor of each varies by the cook.
Originally each family had their own curry recipes (family secret).

I prefer red curry, with chicken, my husband likes Panang curry.
Red curry has a little more of a curry taste and is usually paired with bamboo shoots, broccoli, snow peas and carrots.
Panang is sweeter, has more of a coconut milk taste and is paired with different veggies.

You pick how hot.....we like Thai hot....or 5 stars.....

try it with thai ice tea...

or you could forget the curry and just walk around the block !
