I don't know about cute, but I certainly appreciate it when someone can carry on an intelligent conversation.

I have to say that I tend to come under that category, and I do find it somewhat annoying when people make me out to be an alien speicies because of it. Personally when I hear someone using received pronounciation or correct grammar, I think "Yes! Someone who won't think anything different of me!!". There are many who are far more noticeably so than me, and I just admire it. My sister thinks I'm weird and should better acquaint myself with the real world!

I think it's dead sexy, because I think smart guys are dead sexy. Proper speech suggests that you spend a lot of time reading, which is the best way to get a good feel for the language. Bookworms are hot!

I don't think it's cute, I think it shows their intelligence. Maybe you would like everyone to use buzz words and whatever slang is going around.
