my hair is extremely curly, like a tight springy curl. i have tons of hair, and everytime i flat iron it, it looks very frizzy unless i put this stuff called "ultra sheen" on it for people of color..then it stays put for a couple of hours, if that much.. i want to know what is the best way to keep my hair straight without it frizzing up in this houston humid weather?! what products? routine? anything please!!

This is a good product and a good line of hair care and styling products. I use this on my ethnic clients after washing, I apply then blow dry and flat iron. This leave hair very soft, shiny, manageable and NO FRIZZ!!! I also have used this on my daughter, who is mixed and her hair turned out beautiful.

The best is a product called Flat Iron from FX Special Effects. You can get it at Wal-Mart, CVS, Walgreens, etc. You'll love it!
