The actual extraction went well. They put me to sleep and an hour later I was finishd. Just sleepy and bloody for the rest of the day. (the blood was more than I expected) but i didnt know what to expect so I guess it was normal. I actually had very little pain and have just taken a few Tylonol pills. Nothing major. I took the day off of work today thinking i would be really out of it and in pain but im not. I am so happy about that! I have a major fobia about the dentist so i cried all the way there. But I am really happy about the way it all went. And my advice is you should be put to sleep while they actually do the extraction!

Oh hell no! That's going to burn like pain you've never known. Just stick to the dental instructions and call your DDS on Tuesday to get the ok. Might be healed enough by Tuesday to tolerate the alcohol etc. in mouthwash. Me, I would wait until I had no pain at all before doing that.

Yes, but try not to swish too vigorously: The extraction sites would have just started to heal.

Good luck!

a warm salt water rinse two times a day is what you should be rinsing with, the warm water is for comfort and the salt is to help with the aide of drying up the gums and will help them heal faster

NOOOO! dont do that if the gum is still soft, dont do it because i asked my aunt and she is a dentist if i could and she said that it would make the gum infected so if i was you i would not do it!

No, it will hurt like a you know what. Use Salt water, and do not swish it around to hard.

I don't think that is such a good idea. You should call your dentist.
