the flesh around your eye is made of the same flesh as your heart.....and as such it is connected through a series of nerves....as your heart beats....your eye twitches in syncronization with your heart beat. put a hand on your eye...and one on your heart...you will soon see the correlations.

Eye twiching is a normal phenomenon. Stress can make it worse. It usually resolves itself. Just be patient.

The same thing happened to me, my doctor said caffeine or stress. Turns out I was highly stressed at work and drinking 3-4 cokes a day. When I cut down on the cokes and tried to relax, it stopped. Good luck.

Don't worry it happens to me. It's just an involuntary muscle contraction. When it starts place a finger on the spot it is twitching and hold it there and it should stop after a bit. My doctor said that sometimes stress brings it on.

My eye twitches too! Only sometimes, though, and only for about 30 seconds. I have no idea why it does this!

blepharospasm is caused by muscle stress...relax your eyes for a while! or maybe you have astigmatism, why don't you check with an eye doctor :)
