I'm sick & tired of hearing them acting like cowards & their parents crying for them not to get killed in the war in Iraq. What did they think the Military & having guns means ? They all had a wrong idea. They thought it is fun to enroll. U get in shape, u get fed well, good money, party in Berlin, have sex in Tailand, Rape teen age girls in Japan, Trash clubs in Germany & sleep with little kids in South America. They never expected war. Are they morans ? When u live by the sword, u die by the sword. A good lesson came out from this war. If ur a coward & think the Army is fun, then don't enroll.
Am i right or wrong ?

You are most indubitably correct. They also probably have fathers who were drafted during the Vietnam war edging them on because they didn't want to pay for college. And moron above me, sure.

You are wrong in the way you present your idea. You are correct that many of these people thought that they would get a free ride through college or have their previous college debts paid off without seeing combat. They knew the risks when they signed up, but, most likely, were hoping against hope that they never had to face the risks. As for the parents, I cannot imagine the terror they face, knowing their child is going to war; even in a situation for which their child volunteered.

I agree with you. I'm in the military and at times it isn't fun knowing that at timies i have to suit up in my bdu's and be faced with the option of having to kill someone. The Military isn't for the weak hearted nor is it for the partiers. its amazing though how they got passed the MTI'S ( Military Training Instructers) if they thought that being in the military was all fun and games.

How old are you---reroll?

enlist....

actually you are wrong...but by being wrong you do reflect the truth...war is a deadly business--and the military is no place for immaturity--including president commander in chief.

Everybody who enlist in the armed forces knows full well the responsibility of their commitment. Maybe someday you'll understand that. You sound incredibly immature...and you are so very wrong.

my grandson served in Iraq and I am so very proud of him...
he just got home and he looks healthy, returning to school, paid
for by the government and certainly is very proud of his
tour of duty......

you are an immature person if you think these boys don't know
what they are doing.....they know exactly what they are doing and
they are doing it for you and for me.....so you can be free to write
this rubbish and criticize our heroes.
