always says your name when he talks to you? we dont really talk much but whenever he talks about me or i give him something hell say my name. like 'thank you, ____'

Maybe thats just 'respect'. It could mean nothing. Some people have been brought up that way to call people by this way and thus, he's also doing so.
I have a fren who's even special, she call her own name, like if she sez she wanna eat lunch; she'll say, "Marty wants to eat lunch already...".
I believe its just their atitude, nothing much... unless he's only mentioning your name, whereas when he talked to the others(mix of boys and girls), he did not mention their names, then it shows some significance! (That means ... he likes your name very much, or he like you... Kekekekrkr....)

Somebody taught him that saying the girls name a lot when talking to her makes the girl like you more. Ask him why he does and see if he hesitates with the answer.

BECAUSE HE DOESN"T WANT TO FORGET YOUR NAME. So he keeps repeating it (some people do this without realising it sounds a little weird)
