I am 4 months pregnant with his child, and I find myself longing for the days when it was just myself and my kids in our little apt. Keyword being OUR, could this just be hormones or what? I super love my fiance, and we have no problems at all, we communicate perfectly, but I find myself wishing for the days when it was just us (me and the girls) our way, our time, not worrying about anyone else.

Has anybody else gone from single parenthood to married life and felt the same thing at one time or another?

I went from Single no kids to married with two kids now I have three. All boys. I love my wife very much. I think it is normal the way you feel, you kids probably feel the same way. Just remember this man has taken on a great responsability. He has taken on the children that are not his own, and promised to love them with his all. He probably misses being single too, on his own. Keep up the good work and try to deal with the freedom being taken away. Good luck with the pregnancy.

Yes. I think that happens when you are not sure of given up your space in life to someone else. If you look deeper there's something that is not that comforting about this person in your life. Maybe it's something you are looking over or trying to look over. Deal with it head on. Start with why was the time in the APT with just you and the girls so special? Why can't it be that way now? Are you feeling rushed, pressured or sorry that you got pregnant? Get a piece of paper and write these thoughts out . Make a pros and cons list. See what you come up with. Or it could be just the change of life and more responsibility.

You're just longing for what was.
Did you really like it? You left that life style for a reason.
