My ex-boyfriend dumped me a year ago, yet last week he called me and asked me to go see a movie with him. I went with him, he picked me up & after the movie he just took me home.On the drive home, when I asked him why he wanted to see me, he said that he wants to see me 'every once in awhile'. Why does he wanna hang out and see me once in awhile, when we only dated for one month? By the way, we never had sex during our relationship cuz he knew that I wanna save myself for marriage. We would cuddle, kiss, hug, & hold hands, it was a pure & beautiful thing. Even AFTER he ended it, he would still say hi to me on msn, so we did communicate during this yr. albeit only by msn. We just never met up & he never called me until that day he asked to go see a movie, after the yr. Does he feel guilty for dumping me & wanted to feel better by taking me out or did he miss me & wanna be friends? He's in Asia now, but comes back in one month. Should I ask for coffee one time, but just as friends?

Despite his experience with other girls does he really want a good girl like me at heart? Is he still attracted to me if he wants to hang out even as friends? He's 26 in grad school while I'm 21 & finishing university.

Ask him. From your description it sounds like he wants to be friends. If you have feelings for him, stick to your values and if he's interested, he'll pursue you.

Well its a few things it could be:
1. He feels bad for dumping you
2. He wonders if you will ever maybe try a sexual relationship before marriage
3. He might just want to be friends
4. (kinda off the wall) He plans on taking advantage of you one night drunk

My advice. Be nice but don't agree with going out with him on dates and such. He chose to break it off by the sounds of it by your desire to be abstinent till marriage and wanted a piece of tail sooner.

Difficult question. I think (and this is only my opinion) that he wants to be friends and hang out. Maybe see if there is still something there. And I want to say I salute you for saving yourself for marriage. I think that is wonderful. Not many people do that these days.

Honey - he wants some scootch.

If you're holding back on the scootch, he's only going to see you once in a while.
