By 3 months, it should be able to eat on it's own. Try a nutritious puppy food, your vet can recommend something. Try it dry first, and if it's having a problem chewing it, then you can add a little water and let it sit for about 15 minutes to soften up, and it should not have a problem chewing it. Feed it three times a day until it turns a year old, then you can switch it to an adult dog food, and reduce it to two times a day.

That doesn't sound like enough food for a Lab Mix to be honest. I fed my Weimaraner 3 cups of food a day morning noon and night. Look on the back of the bag and see her age and her weight and it'll tell you how much to feed as she gets older, split it into 3 portions and that's what you feed. Is there a reason you're feeding so late in the evening? It's usually best to NOT put a puppy to bed on a full tank and feeding at 9 pm is a full tank. If you want to be successful at housebreaking you should not feed past 5 pm and get her out a lot before bedtime to ensure she can make it thru 1/2 the night without problems. Good feeding times are 7, 12 & 5. Depending on the food you feed, some foods are All Life Stages which means there is no switching the food ever. However, if you have a "puppy" formula then 12 months is the age you switch to adult food and also cut down on the amount of food fed as a dogs metabolism slows down.

With a small puppy, you should feed it 3 times a day, about 3/4 cup each. At 3 months it should be eating dry puppy food only.

Puppies under six months should be free fed. That means food should be available for her at all times. You never, never go by the package directions. All dogs are unique. Do not just listen to "Robert M" - small breed puppies need to eat often or they can become hypoglycemic. Just feed her puppy food that is in small enough kibble size for toy breed dogs, and leave it down all day. If you have other dogs you shoud separate her with food available when you are not home, or give her the opportununity to eat by herself at least three times a day.
