it hurts like hell....

i just came of a serious ankle ligament sprain,i was on crutches for like 3 weeks and in a boot for abt 7 weeks....i was @ basketball practice and i rolled my ankle..it was the most painfull thing tht has ever happend to me...@ first i didnt know wht it was...i just heard like 4 loud rapid pops...@ first i thought i had broken my leg, but i was able to get up and kinda walk but it was REALLY painful...it was like swollen real bad and it was turing purple...so i went to the Dr. and they took x-rays and said it wasnt broken, but it looked like a bad ankle sprain and possible torn ligaments, so i got an MRI and it turned out tht i had torn them, but not too bad...so i was out for like 7 weeks and now im playin again....but i wear ankle braces...

but yeah...just go to the DR and make sures its not too bad...but i warn u...its expensive, if u dont have medical insurance, it will run like 4-5 thousand dollars.....the Dr. bills (30 bucks a visit X 4) , the speacail boot $500, MRI ( $3500), other ankle brace (200), specail athelitic ankle braces ( $50, but i recomment u get 2, one for each foot so thts like $100), plus all the medication, pain killer and stuff like another 100 bucks or more, luckly i have medical insurance so i didnt have to pay all tht, it was only like 500 bucks...which is nothin compared to 5 thousad dollars...

here are some pics of my ankle..if it looks like this go to the DR.

technically it is pulled or torn, not sprained, but if you think that it is pulled or torn then I suggest you go to the doctor just to be sure, if it heals wrong it is a pain in the but and even more expensive to get it fixed later.
