Why is it that when people drink plenty, they become bloated? I understand that alcohol turns to sugar in the body, but what exactly makes people fat/how many calories in, for example, a bottle of regular liquor?
I'm doing this thing for my health class.

Different alcohols have different sugar content and calorie/carbohydrate levels.. for example, Bud Light is 4.2% alcohol, 110 calories in 12 ozs. and 6.6 carbs. Budweiser is 5.0% alcohol, has 145 calories in 12 ozs and 10.6 carbs. Hard liquor like varieties rum have tons of sugar in them and don't forget about the mixers used to make most mixed drinks. Lots of sugar and calories there too.

it depends on body type, your weight and stuff. i guess also your metabolism. as for calories in bottles of liquor, it depends on which type. each brand/type have totally different amounts of calories depending on the amount of its alcohol content
