There are several reasons why you should not use exterior paint indoors.

First, exterior paints contain mildew inhibitors. They used to use mercury;
I'm not sure if they still do. But in any event, you DON'T want these
chemicals outgassing into your house.

Second, exterior paints are designed to "chalk" as they weather. This is
definitely undesirable inside your house.

Third, exterior paints are formulated to be more flexible than interior
paints, because they are subjected to a much wider range of temperatures. This
means that they don't dry as hard. IOW, indoors, they'll always be a bit soft
or sticky.
Exterior paint contains certain fungicides and UV protective additives that are not approved for interior use. Because of the extreme conditions exterior paints are designed to endure, the strength of the preservative chemicals used may be unhealthy in closed inside areas.

Make sure the paint is not an enamel or oil based paint, it will tell you on the can what type it is. Generally speaking it best to use exterior paint outside, Probably not worth the risk to save a dollar or two, the right materials for the job always ends in a better result.

As long as they are not oil based, yes. Exterior paints are made to resists the elements more over indoor paint. Only real difference.
Hmmm - then came your next answer. Below comes from 1st source. Then I verified with second source.

I mixed my partially empty cans - made new paint and painted inside. Looks just fine - holding up but don't want to be a bad influence.(<;
