wow I was just looking up the nutritional info. of thin crust versus pan on the pizza hut site. Wierd. Switch to thin crust. It's healthier because there's not as much bread/carbs. Once slice of a medium thin crust cheese pizza is approximately 200 calories, and Pizza Hut breadsticks are 50 calories each.

No, the crust is the same.

However, there is less of it. As long as you're not eating twice as much pizza it may make some small difference in your calorie intake.

Thin crust pizza would theoretically have less dough and be less fattening.

Pizza dough is very lean so neither are fattening at all. However the amount of carbs are increased and carbs break down to sugar so it would contain more sugar with a thick crust. The opposition is the amount of cheese to crust ratio is alot higher on a thin crust (Depending on who makes it) and the Mozzerella contains about 35% fat, so if fat intake is your concern then your caught in a catch 22 cause sugar turns into fat in the body anyway. Next time just get a salad

yes, thin crust pizzas is less fattening compared with thick crust...thick crust has more calories due to its content...Italian pizzas often has thin crust and has less cheese and more veggies on the toppings compared to the american style with thick crust with cheese dripping and loads of meat...

depends on where i eat my pizza, by our place, shakey's makes good thin-crust pizza. for regular crusts, i'd say yellowcab or brooklyn, or even sbarro. even their chicago-style pizzas are nice. that said, i only eat what they serve best.
