With T-Mobile Prepaid you pay for a refill card $10, $25, $50 or $100 value and you are given a certain amount of minutes. You do not have any mobile to mobile minutes or nights or weekends minutes.

With a T-Mobile My Favorite Phones requires a regular T-Mobile account and credit check which gives you more minutes and you are able to set up to 5 people (on any phone carrier or phone number) that you call often. These are the 5 phone numbers that will be free and your minutes will not be deducted by calling these phone numbers.

With a T-Mobile My Favorite requires certain phones from T-Mobile that are programmed for this. For this reason, a Prepaid T-Mobile phone cannot be used as a T-Mobile Favorites.
