So i like this guy, but i dont talk to him. and i need to start talking to him so i can ask him to the sadies dance. but im not sure what to say to him. what are some good conversation topics? i really want to ask him becuase i have a friend that is friends with him, and she said "i highly doubt he would say no if you asked him". so please, what are some good convo topics?

Actually, this is an easy question to answer, however, its not as easy to implement the advice sometimes, depending on how shy you are. Maybe try introducing your self in the hallway, give him a complement on something he likes (maybe if he plays a sport or if he skateboards or music tastes or something.) once you've started up the conversation, go with the flow, be yourself. There really isn't anything to be nervous about. After you start to feel comfortable around him, bring up the dance and ask if he's going, if he says yes, ask if hes going with anyone in particular, THEN if he says no, ask him.

If you share a class with him, talk about the class and the homework involved and maybe ask him to get together to do some study sessions.
If not, find some other interest that the both of you share, say if u notice he wears a football jersey for some team, research the team and talk about the team, the status how well u think they are going to do etc.
Just find something in common and as long as you do, you will have something to talk about. Atleast to start off with

I think u should go out on a wing and a prayer and just plain out ask him. Maybe start the conversation like " Hi I'm _________, I know we barely know eachother but i was wondering can we go to the sadies dance 2getha so we can learn more about eachotha. Just try!!!!

Ask the friend what he likes and then "casually" bring it up when talking to him. Do your homework on the subject though, so you don't look like a fool. I love being a woman, we are so tricky sometimes, no?:)

if he playes foot ball talk about his friends and ask game questions. if not just be your self, lol and if that dont sit u well if he looks in your eye and you feel he likes you, go for it....
