I have tried this but with honey added to the milk. Nuke the mixture for about 30 seconds until the honey is easily blended into the milk. The honey acts as a sealer, the milk a moisturizer. Pour the concoction on your hair, rinse completely, then shampoo as usual. This is a great way to deep condition your hair, so do it on a day that you're not going to work, school, a date, etc. Also, the best thing you can do for your hair is to only wash it every other day.

I have heard of rinsing your hair with milk sometime back, but only you would know if it really is helping you or not! You say you have been doing it for a month, how does the texture feel? Is the hair healthy? Is the hair strong? Is there healthy new growth? Is it shiny? Good Luck!

DO not wash your hair with milk. It will curdle under the heat and ruin the ph balance your follicles require. Skim milk is particularly harmful as the protein is not bound by fat to promote smoothness. Drink your milk, its good for your health. But dont wash your hair with it....And chocolate milk will not replace a good henna rinse!

yeah supposedly washing your skin with milk was supposed to help your skin or "whiten" i mean by opposite of tanning. I don't think milk will help your hair that much compared to the cost. If i were you i'd go to a spa or something.

Not unhealthy, just a little costly. Also if you don't rinse all the milk out, it will SMELL....and not a good smell.

People bathe in milk, it can act as a moisteriser. If it is making your hair look better then it's fine!
