Actually, yes. Anything you do that stresses your body, such as a diet change, or quitting smoking, or even increased excersize can alter your menstrual cycle. But normally it is temporary. And it's better in the long run, because smoking can cause even worse problems.

Good for you if you are trying to quit! It's a horrible habit and you'll start a healthy new life in the new year. I'm doubting that quitting will affect your menstrual cycle.

I do not think this is possible. I don't think quitting cigarettes will affect anything except you will probably gain weight, be hateful, and have trouble sleeping for a while.
