You never stop loving. It just becomes less and less of a heartache as time goes by. You meet new people and maybe a new love. It's a death and you have to mourn first in order to get on with your life. It's not easy but you can do it.

Trying to deal with that right now since my ex dumped me.
1) Think of something that he/she did that really pissed you off and realize that your never going to have to deal with that again. Also, realize that it wasnt your fault it ended, and put the blame on the other person. It makes yourself feel better
2) Find a new hobby, right now Im just reading lots of books watching lots of movies and keeping myself busy
3) Hang out with others you love like family and friends especially those who will never stop loving you. It helps to know that there are people out there for you.
Its going to be hard, but eventually it will get better. Trust me, a couple weeks ago I was in the same situation

You dont, most times you cant. You can only get use to not having them around. Sometimes thats very hard to do.but you can do it. You dont have to stop loving, caring. you just need to adjust and move on with your life. If you have lost someone to death, it may be different than someone leaving you.

dont meet them in the first place!, then you wouldn't fall for them.
dont give them its not you , itsme scenario . let them down gently, explain that you want to quit loving them...if you say it like that..you both might have a laugh and see why you chose each other in the first place....dont hurt them

You can't because love just happens. You don't know when it coes and you don't know when it's going to go away. All you can do is...well....if you don't want to love someone anymore...I guess stay away from them or tell them to stay away from you...but it's going to hurt
