My best friend is getting married in late May and I'm the Maid of Honor I just had a baby(2 months ago) and my doctor has finally given me the okay to exercise I have been doing crunches, sit ups. lunges, and squates and I'm not seeing any difference after 2 weeks. I do 100 crunches and sit ups as well as 60 crunches and lunges a piece everyday and I eat a sensible diet I cut out all starches and sugars I only eat chicken and fish and my belly and hip fat has not even budged! (nor have i lost any inches in my waist) I still look like I'm about 4 months pregnant!

This is so frustrating being that this is my third child and I gained 50 lbs(the most I have ever gained in all 3 pregnancies) I am currently 5 feet and 167 lbs. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get back to my prepregnancy weight of 117?

no matter what, you will NOT see any results within 2 weeks! Losing weight takes a lot of time & patience. You also need to cut out more of what your eating the first month. Forget the chicken & fish for the next 2 months. You need to be eating nothing but FRUITS & SALADS. Don't eat any junk food, eat only fruits, salads, vegetables & DRINK ONLY WATER all day every day. You also have to excercise every day, you need to add more intense excercise. 60 crunches & lunges a piece is not going to do anything to you. You need to start doing some cardio work out & i mean some INTENSE CARDIO WORK OUTS. The best thing to do is go running for at least 1 hour EVERY DAY. Then increase it to 2 hours (if you want to lose this weight by May). You might want to get a membership at 24 hour Fitness or your local gym.
If you follow this routine, you will more than likely see results within 3 months or less. Make sure you eat breakfast every day (fruits) and go to sleep early on the weekdays. Eat dinner at least 3 hours before you go to bed. I promise you that you will lose the weight if you follow this plan. GOOD LUCK and remember, NO JUNK FOOD

I am about your height and five pounds lighter...This is what I had to do...walk. get a pedometer and average 3-5 miles a day. Food: cut out the salt/sodium because you want your body to get rid of the fat and water. Salads with vegetable macaroni..fruit...sherbet...tea..juice..I also liked tomato juice. Bread: wheat..wraps..tacos
Serving size: Moderation but I filled up on the salad and vegetables and also had fish, chicken boiled...
I was on this for about a month and started to loose...
Painting walls is fun also (I did my mom's kitchen and a two car garage one summer)..If you become inactive..the weight will return. What goes in calorie must be burned Good Luck Dont look for 117 but you will hopefully loose; dont eat kids' leftovers!

It sounds like you have made a good start. You just need to add some aerobic activity to help burn the fat. Try walking 30 -60 minutes a day. You can put the baby in a stroller, or front pack, and take him/her with you. Good luck!

Keep doing what your doing, But it takes at the very least 6 months to get back down to your regular weight if you work it off. I've had 6 kids and weigh 104 now. It took nearly a year to get back down.

Come on be realistic it took 9 months to gain it, it won't come off overnight. With each pregnancy it is harder to spring back . good luck
