Homosexuality has been proven to be genetic. It is not a lifestyle choice but infact a new sub-species of the human race. If you look to nature, you will observe gay dolphins, gay bulls, gay dogs - it is everywhere in existence. God is the creator of life, and all things contained within it are gods creation. Why would god condemn his own creativity? The bible has been written, and re-written, interpreted, re-interpreted over centuries with the church 'filtering' the original teachings of christ. The bible is very symbolic and what is written can be read several ways and with the change of language to modern day english - the true integrity and teachings have been distorted.
God does not condemn his own children-> gay, straight or otherwise. What is important to remember is that we are all one, interconnected and a part of each other - we are the breath of god.
Look at the church from an historical perspective and dont get caught up in what you have been taught or told but make your own mind up based on the facts. It is well documented that the church done everything in its power to keep its leaders male adopting this sanction that men are more holey then woman, and a man behaving effeminate or gay challenged what they had built up - a world governed & run by Men. Women were suppressed and anything that would compromised the leadership of Men. To accept a homosexual is to open up argument to equality and equal rights, and to challenge the system in place by the church.
The church is a creation of man, god is worshipped in the hearts of all that believe. Jesus demonstrated this thru his life. Jesus never condemned homosexuality, nor did his teachings. This came from so called prophets taking instruction from what they percieved to be angelic beings. There is always the element of interpretation, and distortion of what was said, to what was written. A scripture can only be as pure as the mind & heart of the transcriber.
God did not instruct man kind to go to war with each other as we have thru history, nor did he throw stones at pagans - we did, nor did he condemn homosexuality - we did. Because we fear what we do not understand.

Christianity recognizes the fact that there is the choice of whether to partake in homosexual acts or heterosexual acts or bisexual acts or beastiality or being a pedafile...etc...etc... The point is it is a "choice"...you are not born that way. God did not create sinful beings...(Ezekiel 18:20)....he gives us choices of whether to obey his "words" found in the "holy Bible". In the New Testament in the book of "Romans" (Romans chapter 1 toward the end of the chapter) written to the church at Rome and recorded for an example to all nations for all time....homosexuality is condemned and those who practice it will burn in hell with the devils and their angels....you can get therapy to overcome this sin....the first step would be to avoid all pornography which corrupts the mind, dwell on the word of God, read his word every day for strength, obey what you read in the Bible, pray for help, and you will be released from this sin.
THE MOST IMPORTANT THING HERE IS TO REMEMBER GOD LOVES THE PERSON AND SO DOES ALL THE CHRISTIANS OF THE WORLD...THE SIN...THE ACT OF PERVERSION...IS WHAT IS HATED...NOT THE PERSON.

No - it is listed in the Bible as a sin. I however, struggled with homosexual feelings while still being in Christianity. I was not kicked out for feeling that way. Just like any other sin that people struggle with, I was encouraged not to actively participate in these desires. I eventually found my freedom. Being gay is no different than being a man who looks lustfully at women. Both are sins common to humanity that must be controlled.
Churches that accept it as a normal way of life that is acceptable to God are ignoring major passages of the Bible. Cut and paste theology.

Discrimination
It is not unusual to find that in the animal world of which we all are a part of, to find gays practicing and exercising their natural tendencies.
Nature has not lost the ability to make natural things that do different things.
To suggest that Gay's are somehow unnatural is wrong.
Man's strongest instinct is to reproduce. No question.
It is not surprising tha the issue of homosexuality is in the forfront of our thinking.
In a universe where God loves all souls, all souls must be looked upon with the same reverance we give to other souls. How can we justify this in light of Go out and reproduce. Hard to do.
I would suggest that the writers of the bible were looking for a way to reverse the trend in sexuality that they were seeing at that time.
The trend in those days were certainly different than today.
Some of the customs of the day incude adult males havin free access to thier own young with impunity etc.... no need for details here, suffice it to say that maleness and femaleness were loosing their meaning in sexual practice.
Not good.
The bible is full of retribution for a number of practices that are "legal" today.
That is about in line with other discrepancies of the bible.
We pick and choose freely, from the verces and what not in the bible to justify our position on various issues, why not this one.
Having said this our, only recorse then is to use our own lgic and inteligence to resolve this issue.
To condem any gay's or their practices, we need to first figure out what God would do when these souls get to heven.
God, to deny these souls heven, would have to admit to a failure in producing a perfect soul.
A perfect God can not admit to a failure, this is suposed to be imposible for a God.
We see then that it is only our own failure to percieve the perfection of these souls
that make us dislike them. This indicates that any believer must by force of the phylosophy of our bible, accept these souls because the benevalence of God would override all other aspects of this issue.
We need to assume that God allows gay's and lesbians to exist for a reason, that reason may be to teach us something about discrimination.
Any that discriminate agaist these groups still have yet to learn that lesson.
Thank God for gay,s and all others on this earth who have been chosed by God to teach us this lesson.

What do you mean by "allow"? Speaking as a universal (not Roman) Catholic, I will say that because Christians love Jesus (who loves all people) we should also love, and live peacefully with, homosexuals. However, living peacefully with and allowing their agenda to be forced upon me and my children are two different things. If my neighbor is a homosexual, he has every right to live next to me in peace as my neighbor, but he does not have the right to tell me that I must adopt or even approve of his lifestyle, just as he may not approve of mine. I believe the Bible condemns homosexual practices and I should be allowed to voice that belief to anyone I please (gay or otherwise). They have the right to say, "I don't accept that belief." On the other hand, as my child's guardian, if I don't want my child exposed to the belief that homosexuality is an okay practice, then I should have the right to politely "silence" the gay voice (as far as it applies to those whom I may feel it is harming.) I do not, however, have the right to persecute my neighbor for choosing to go against God's wishes. He is my neighbor and I am to love my neighbor as myself--speak the truth, but "allow" free choice.

Unfortunately, fundamentalist Christians and others who take the Bible literally must, by its teachings, condemn homosexuality and sadly, homosexuals too. So much for teaching love...
As just one example, Paul wrote to the Corinthians, "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God." (I Chorin. 6:9-10, NIV)
Interestingly, the King James version even condemns "the effeminate." So you'd better be pretty macho, and not like chick flicks or bubble baths. Looks like that will send you to hell, too.
You hear Christians raging against homosexuals, fighting to deny them the rights that they themselved (Christians) have. But do you hear them condemning greedy people, or swindlers? Most of Corporate America would be deprived of their rights by this logic.
Of course there are immoral and promiscuous homosexuals just as there are immoral and promiscuous straight people. But in general, homosexual people simply love someone just like you or I do, often with all their heart. Many religious people, however, do not practice love, but hatred toward them (even if it is disguised as "Christian love" and concern for their souls), seek to make them second-class citizens and brand them as "perverts" and "sinners."
Will the real perverts please stand up...

No, it does not. Homosexuality is a sin, and any practicing homosexual who says that they are a Christian needs to rethink their commitment to Jesus Christ. If they were a Christian, then they would NOT want to do anything displeasing to God. Though God DOES love them, that is no excuse to continue in their practice. Though God loves them, it is THEIR CHOICE to continue, to put themselves in that situation, and unless they truly repent, turn from their sin, and ask forgiveness for God, they will go to hell by their own choice. God does love them, and sent His Son to die for them and us and to help us through our difficulties. Hope this helps!

No, the Bible does not allow it. We believe it's a sin... but that doesn't mean you have to be hostile to homosexuals or judge them. That's God's job, and we should be kind and loving to them just as we would be to anyone else.

There is no such thing like "christian gay".
1. Corinthians 6:9 "Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,..."
Effeminate = a person that acts as a female in the homosexual intercourse
Abusers of themselves with mankind = a person that acts as male in the homosexual intercourse
And what is a solution?
1. Cor. 6:11
"And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God."
It says, "such were", not "such are" some of you. In order for a homosexual person to become a christian he needs to get sanctified and justified - leaving that sinful homosexual practice and mindset, and the Lord will give a new life to him
