Lighter board flip easier. Girl, and Almost are great street boards, and good for tricks. I have an Almost red dawn V2 board, destructo trucks, element swiss bearings, and element wheels and i love it.

get boards like element that are helium boards
super light
if you like major control get a size 7.63
but if you have big feet try a 7.75 or 8.0
but mainly its just what your most comfortable with
a lot of people like their trucks loose so its easier to manuver around
fast bearings are a priority because you will need speed to land some tricks and you will dEFinaTEly need risers if you want your knees to feel better at the end of the day and if you want your board to last longer
so just pick some things you feel comfy on and go skate

deck isn't going to make much of a differance but your setup might, try lighter trucks and a lighter board. I use a zero with distructo trucks and spitfire wheels and ab works great for me, I even have a blank board with that setup and works the same. Before that I used a blind board indy trucks. both of my setups use bones reds bearing they are a medium priced bearing and work great.

It's not the deck, it's the operator. Trust me...You can blame the board or you can try harder. It's not the board..it's the rider!

try either world indisturies or girl...world indistruies has longer lengths which i find easier to keep your balance while gringing and manualing.
Good Luck!
