nicely, they do have the authority to furnish you that cost tag for slicing them off, even with the undeniable fact that they have been interior the incorrect as a results of fact they did no longer have their lighting fixtures on. Now if I have been you i could do 2 issues. i could contest the cost tag to work out in case you've got the high-quality the two rescinded or decreased. Secondly i could record the police officer that pulled you over. A police officer is meant to maintain on with the regulation purely like anybody else. they are no longer above the regulation. it is an offense on their area and that they choose make optimistic that they themselves are following the guidelines. they're required to ascertain that each and every thing on their motor vehicle is being utilized on the right time mutually as at the back of the wheel. in the event that they do no longer then they're in violation of their own codes and can be fined or reprimanded.

Poor cfb0500 got a ticket for failing to obey the law and, of course, wants to know if the cop could do such a horrible thing to poor little cfb0500.
Do you have a driver's license? Do you know the rules of the road?
Go to court and ask the judge this same question and HOPE he/she doesn't increase the fine to the maximum.

Absolutely, and it is more likely to happen late at night. (Think like a cop, this is the time most people are out partying.) You can also get pulled over for going one mile an hour over the speed limit, or too slow, too if they really feel like it.

does the law say you have to signal? Yes it does. If the cop sees you, then you weren't the only person on the road, now where you??

I don't see why not. If it's a state law that you need to use your blinker, and you didn't use it, then what's the problem?
Using a turn signal is a good habit to have. You shouldn't have to even think about it, or you might forget to use it when there are people around.

If you're too damn lazy to turn on your signal ... or too stupid to ... you really shouldn't be driving. It obviously WASN'T "only you" if a cop pulled you over for failing to signal.
