If God said Let there be Light - Wouldn't that mean he is the Darkness? What was prior to the light?

In the effulgent rays of the spiritual sky there are innumerable planets floating.
All the planets in the spiritual kingdom are self-illuminated like the sun in the material sky.
This material Universe is like dark cloud in one corner of the spiritual self illuminated Universe.

I think God created what scientist think is "the big bang". He first created something out of nothing. I think so people could understand, God changed the truth to suit human intellect. When he created the world in the bible... I believe he created the universe. The story was changed to him creating the earth so mankind could comprehend the story.

Even in the bible... Adam and eve had freewill... they chose to eat the apple. Therefore God has always worked by decree. There are also historically large periods of time that God is absent. This suggests that he returns periodically... and that would be why we have not actually seen God.

Before light there was nothing. In the middle of the galaxy we have today is a super massive black hole. Scientists do not know what it is... it makes too much sense that this has something to do with God, the creation of the galaxy, and to anti-matter (which is truly unexplainable as of yet). Just something for you to chew on.

No God is not darkness. Light is just the first thing He created. There was nothing before He created light in the most literal sense. This is the concept of creation ex nihlo [ out of nothing ] as taught in Genesis 1:1
