like it seems that when u love someone is pretty much having all these feelings for them and stuff like but being infatuated isnt that the same thing?

I think infatuation is when you think about that person all the time but in time you realize you were thinking about them for all the wrong reasons. at the beginning of your relationship, if you are trying to figure out if you are in love or infatuated with a person, most likely you are infatuated if you even have to think about it.
when you are in love, its not a question, you just know. you feel it in every bone and at the deepest parts of your soul. and the most important, all the insecurities you my have had in the past, you don't have with this person. its like those feelings never existed. you also will know that anything you do will never be judged by this person. its the greatest feeling in the world

No, it's not the same thing. Being in love (the true kind of love, the one that is unselfish and pure) means you are willing to even give up certain things in order to make that other person happy. Being in love means you are willing to compromise and make a commitment to that person.
When you are infatuated with someone, it means you are usually only attracted to them physically or there is something that you find attractive about them, could be their sense of humor, sense of style, etc. etc. However, if something better comes along you won't even give them the time of day.
That's my personal opinion =)

Love is selfless .. You realize you can sacrifice even for that person and you realize you really care that person ... You realize you constanty need them around and realize you have this passionate affection that you not feelign for others... Infatuation is when you just have a long crush on someone but yet not a mture love for a person..... You may be very smitten for a person but will fade really soon...

And infatuation is having to say sorry alot...LOL..But this question can be debated till hell freezes over, and still will not be resolved.
