What if one of you're male friends came up and thanked you for always listening to you, and said that "it might now be a big deal to you, but it really means a lot to me."? Then goes on to say how you are a really great person, and touches you on the arm and makes a lot of eye contact with you? What if you and this guy were often talking and flirting and stuff?

Well, gosh, he COULD be creepy, but he might also mean it! He may be trying to let you know he really appreciates you as a person, not just trying to woo you into whatever. As for his other gestures-the eye contact, touching your arm-it sounds like what you described in your last sentence, just taken one little step further. Especially if it was gently, instead of pushy or forceful. Only you can decide that-you were there.

One final thing-it's kinda sad when people interpret a boy or man's kind words and gestures, or expression of emotion as some sign of something being wrong with him. (And I don't consider being gay as something wrong with you-and if someone is-so what?) God gave men hearts and emotions for a reason-he MEANT for them to use 'em.

I would tell him to snap out of it, i am a tomboy and with the flirting thing i have so many guy friends and i flirt with all of them. my boyfriend doesnt like that. physical contact from guys im use to and eye contact means they aretelling the truth or they know how to lie. after this i would assume he is trying to impress me or this really does mean something to him that im always got his back

When you say "you and this guy were often talking and flirting and stuff" that "and" means you are doing it as well-it's not just him "doing the action to you". So, you are obviously fishing for someone to say that this guy is in to you, because you are obviously into him....If not, why are you "flirting"?

FLirt back and see where it goes. Or make a funny comment saying are you flirting with me and smile that will get him to say what iis going on in his mind.

well first of all...i take that back. theres only one thing. any guy that says "thanks for listening...it might now be a big deal to you, but it really means a lot to me" is really saying, "hey listen, i have a penis and two balls but i plan on never using them because im pathetic and my attempt at sensitivity will surely end in failure. i hope you can still handle being friends with someone who lacks masculinity and active genetalia." go gettem tiger!

I think the guy is beginning to have feeling for you, but is waiting for a mutual confirmation from you...but he did take the first step, to taking the relationship to the next level..

I would think that dude wants to be more than friends with me. Either friends with benefits or wants a relationship with me. You already know that they listen to you and you listen to them.

If I was attracted to him I'd be in heaven. Are you kidding? For a guy to express himself so well, and so sincerely, well...excuse me while I melt.
