I've been on Weight Watchers for a week now (yes, a VERY long time). I'm allowed 22 points a day (very short) and have lost four pounds (yea for me). This is HUGE for me as I have NO willpower. I hope to lose around 30 pounds. I was hoping that some of you can help keep me going with some stories. My main change is watching what I eat. I'm avoiding fast food like the plague and choose healthy snacks like fruits. I have an incredible sweet tooth and have found that the weight watchers cakes are quite tasty. I am allergic to nutrasweet and have an aversion to other things like Splenda so sugar-free isn't an option for me. Are there any paticular things that you all have found that have worked for you? I know that tomatoes, lemons, and greenbeans are free (great snacks) but what other items do you all use? Also, does anyone know the point value for boxed chocolate cake mix make with applesauce? Thanks so much!!!

When I really want something sweet I go for the frozen Italian ices in the frozen food section.

They're low in calories but they do satisfy me when I want something sweet.

I've lost 37 pounds so far and I have another 20 to go. I'm going very slow because I want the pounds to stay off so that I won't have to do this again.

The meetings are the thing that keeps me on track. I also have a "meeting-buddy". Her and I talk before and after the meeting just to encourage each other.

Also....there will be times when you revert back but that's human and to be expected. Just put the "slip" aside and keep going and you'll be fine.

Avoid boxed cake mixes! It takes three times as much as a homemade cake to satisfy and it is soooooo much more calories. Just once in a while you can have a small portion of the real thing.
I lost 130 lbs by watching what I eat. That's a whole person!
The biggest fat burners are citrus. Watermelon is good too as it is a diuretic (make ya go). It has nutrition with very few calories remaining in your system. If you are craving sweets and can't eat aspartame, try a little honey or another natural sugar, in moderation. You usually don't need as much and you need a little natural sugar in your diet anyway.
