I to don' think love is a choice. I think love finds you. I think we have a choice not to fall in love with someone that's already taken. I think if you find yourself falling for someone Else's man/woman then you are the type of person that is looking for love in places you didn't get as a child. Now it's different if you didn't know the person is married, but a mature person will let go as soon as they find out that the person is taken. Love happens when two people began to know each other. and have common interest. That's why I don't believe people really know what love is after they base what they feel for someone on how that person look. So real love is not a choice when it happen like that, but you really shouldn't fall for someone Else's man you have made a choice to ignore their spouses feeling in order to get what you what and the problem with that is ... you can't have all of them.

No I don't believe it is a choice. When I first met my husband I looked at my friends and said that guy is a ***!!!! I dont like him at all. After time I realized I didn't really even know him, but seemed intrigued. Buy the time I realized it, I loved him. It scared me to the point I wouldn't answer his calls . When he showed up at my door, I told him I didn't think it was a good idea for us to hang around. He didn't stop and 15yrs. later we are still together and I am so in love with him still.

Attraction is not a choice, but of those we are attracted to I do think we can decide NOT give our love to someone. I find love is a verb, an action that requires us to do something. If the person is not appropriate I DO nothing. The less I do the less I find I am attracted to the person.
I also find the opposite to be true. If I'm attracted and the person is appropriate, I can choose to express my feelings which increases them (as long as they are returned).

Yes, love is definitely a choice. Many people confuse 'love' with 'feelings.' What people sometimes mistake as love is actually just a blend of feelings..that is why people are always asking "am I in love?" or "does he love me?"
Love is a choice, because the definition for love is CHOSING the ultimate best for someone else. You have control over chosing to love someone, you sometimes dont have control over feelings.
People kill themselves over what they think is love...

I thought I was in love with someone before, but it was infatuation. I believe that self-control has to overrule passion sometimes.
Yes, love is a choice.

Yoiu are referringto emotions which you have nio control ovcer. I sumit to you that loving someone is a CONSCIOUS CHOICE to put your beloved's needs ahead of your needs. It is CONSCIOUS commitment to one another at all times, not just the good time.

You begin to like some1 but you know you love them when you could see yourself having kids with them and feeling sooooo comfortable around them and always having a good time and thinking how bad it woudl b if u lost them and it hurts even though you already have them wiht u, theres no way that cna be choice bc i wouldn't have fallen in love with the one i thought i was in love with she turned out to be a ***** to me...

I think it is a choice just like who you hang out with and like as in friendship like. You can't help however who you fall for.
