Taxes depend on the state they live in and the wages. Wages vary widely for teachers-- a teacher in downtown Chicago will be paid much more than a teacher in some small town in Wyoming, for instance. Some states have income tax on top of the federal tax, some don't.

Teachers pay at the same rates as other people with similar incomes and similar other tax-related situations.

Since teachers have a wide range of salaries and of family circumstances, there's no answer possible to your question.

But more than the guy flippiing burgers at McDonald's, and less than Bill Gates... should be a safe answer.
