or do they prefer a woman who is a bit aloof. I feel i have always been too availalbe. its like the last guy when he phoned i chatted for hours, with him and then he dumped me. I wish i had not given him so much of my precious time, I ran for nearly half a mile once to catch a bus because it was the last one and look how he treated me. I think a person can be too pleasing, i suppose its wanting love sometimes. I think some people have a greater need to be loved expassilly if they have not had enough, what do you think,

they can tell if a woman it too eager or desperate.They like to have choices and you go on the bottom of the list if they think that you'll always be "available".
I suggest that you try not to show how much you like a guy or how much you want to be with him, don't get your hopes up for no one either

I just think most guys are jerks. If men are pushy and we back off, there is something wrong with us but if we show interest we are too pushy and desperate. I have wasted much of my time and effort to meet a guy too, only to find that the guy I met (this has happened several times) put no effort into it and didnt appreciate that I took two buses and was out in the hot sun or rain just to meet him. I think I do the same thing sometimes but it is usually because a guy has shown interest in me and then disappeared and I feel I have a right to know what turned them off.

but also you should make sure a guy likes you before talking to him for hours etc.

yes they can, and he will take advantage of that. Men like to play hard to get.
