No of course not. Dogs can only have one, specially small breed dogs, but even large breeds can just have one.

No, that's not true. Many dogs have litters of single puppies. There was recently in the news a story of a Chihuahua who had to have a c-section because her single puppy -- a Pomeranian mix -- was too large for her to birth naturally. Within a few weeks, the puppy turned out to be larger than the mom.

There are very few things in life in which the word ALWAYS can be accurately applied. (which can be helpful on tests... answers that contain the word ALWAYS or DEFINITELY are almost never correct) This is certainly NOT one of them. It's totally possible for a dog to have only one puppy.

dogs have different number of puppies every time a teacup chiwawa isnt going to have 12 puppies, it will only have 1 or maby 2. now a k9 might have like 7 or something my dog was a bit bigger than a chiwawa and she had 5 puppies! it depends.

Dogs can have only one puppy. It depends on how many eggs the dog released when she was bred will determine the number of puppys she has.

No, it just depends on the size of the dog. A dachshund or chihuahua may have one or two where a Labrador may have eight to twelve.

No, because we used to raise puppies. Our Pomeranian only had one pup. Our other dogs had two to four pups.

No that's not true. Smaller breed dogs tend to have smaller litters. Larger breeds tend to have larger litters.
