I had to find something to discipline the kids in my household.
An old gentleman down the street suggested i needed to get me a "Cattle Prod" and just give the kids a good jolt from it everytime they even looked like they were going to act up.

At first i thought this old dude was crazy. But, after dealing with unruly teenagers, i figured i'd give it a try. Went and bought one, have used it a couple of times each on all 8 kids age 8-17.

It apparently works, because my kids have never got out of line one time since. The wife has quit her nagging too. My concern is, could their be longterm side effects from using this on a person.

I believe using that as a form of punishment is called child abuse. Ever try sitting down with them and asking them why they act the way they do and then trying to reach some kind of a settlement. Sometimes allowing children to participate and put their say in the rules for the house. They will listen better.

It's a fine form of discipline, but you do know that as a parent, you need to first try out the discipline on yourself, right? And since you are an adult (I do use that term loosely), it needs to go right up the poop schute to be truly effective.

Good luck on the new medication!!!

There are ways and methods for dicipline that are not harmful and do work effectively. Personally if you are doing this and not lying then i hope you get arressted for child abuse. Did you not think there was a reason they used this on animals and not on people. Those are worse than tazer guns and they hurt like hell, i don't blame the kids for not getting out of line they are terrified of you, you dumb prick.

Hmmmm, let's use it on you a few times and see. They're your children NOT cattle and if I was married to you, you'd find that cattle prod stuffed up your a** for using it on one of my kids. Good luck when Child Protective Services comes knocking on your door for cruelty to children.
